You tell me to be true to myself and make myself happy, but you’re quick to jump on the bandwagon and talk down about me. You tell me you’re happy for me, but when I need a shoulder you’re quick to say “you chose this lifestyle.” You say you don’t care and you love me no less but every time we talk, you’re preaching the “word” to me and trying to tell me why I’m “like this.” Why is it that you can not wholeheartedly love me for me? Why can’t you accept me as I am? I am sorry to disappoint you but I can only be me.

Long and overdue, VIBE 103 has saved Bermuda’s radio!

Its official I have converted! Vibe 103 has me singing in the shower! I knew they had the power to have me fiending to listen to it at work but for them to have me singing in the shower, this station has got me feeling like a crack head and they are my dealer! 

Vibe has hit Bermuda with a BANG not even a week on air and their downloads are soaring. They have definitely set the stage.

I knew a girl who used to be afraid of who she was, what she liked, how people of the same sex made her feel. Due to the way of the world and how people treat those in same sex relationships I guess she felt more safe to just keep it to herself and pretend like those feelings didn’t exist. Do you know what it is like to grow up as a child and be attracted to another girl, do you know how difficult it is to think back on those memories once you get older and you learn that there are actual other people out there like you, and that you are not alone? I wish I could actually explain into words the feeling, but unfortunately I can’t, no words can truly express the way a child feels growing up and is unsure about what they are feeling. That girl is me.

Truly, Madly, Deeply, In Love

It’s funny how big of an impact you have on me. It’s like when I see you, you don’t even have to speak…all you can do is smile, and it can make my day, and then that’s how I remember my reasons for loving you.

Is there any such thing as truly, madly, deeply in love? Is there such a thing as love? My answer, yes. I say yes while others may say no, but I say yes because to me, love is; letting go, full stop, period, the end.

One of the most uplifting feelings in the world to experience, and its our choice if we choose to bring it into our world or not. Many say that a life without love isa life not lived at all, and I agree. You have some people who have loved only once and because of one heartache, they chose to keep their heart to themselves. People like that appear happy on the outside, but on the inside they truly are lonely. Everyone wants someone to spend their life, someone to come home to, someone to trust with your tears and pain, laughter and joy, someone to love. The only thing that seems to stop people is the fact that they won’t go, they won’t give away the key to their soul, key to their core, key to the power to be able to hurt them.

Funny thing and the only prerequisite about telling a lie, is that you have to have a good memory. At that very moment that you decide to cry wolf you need to decide whether or not you will remember the story you made up and who you told it to.

I am pretty sure that everyone has encountered people who just lie for no reason at all, or the reason is unknown to you and everyone else. I guess you just have those people in the world who just need that attention, I guess their life isn’t that exciting. I would say that I feel sorry for them but I really don’t, because I feel like they know what they are doing. I mean really, is the outcome of the lie really worth it? I guess for the time being, until you are face to face with the repercussions.
